PLA (Polylactic acid)  is a new kind of biological and renewable biodegradable material.
Polylactic acid (PLA) is a new kind of biological and renewable biodegradable material. Polylactic acid (PLA) is made from starch raw material which purified by renewable crops, such as corn.The Starch raw material is obtained by saccharification, and then fermented by glucose and certain strains to produce high purity lactic acid, and then a certain molecular weight of polylactic acid is synthesized by chemical synthesis.Polylactic acid (PLA) has good biodegradability, and can be completely degraded under specific conditions by the microorganisms in nature after use. It will eventually produce carbon dioxide and water without polluting the environment, which is very favorable for the protection of the environment and is a recognized environmental friendly material.
Polylactic acid (PLA) belongs to the polyester family. PLA has the basic properties of general polymer materials. Polylactic acid (PLA) has good mechanical properties and low shrinkage. PLA is widely used in the manufacture of packaging materials, disposable articles, household appliance shell, 3D consumables, fiber field, electronic field, automobile field, biological medicine field, stationery field, mother and baby products, household products, film products and so on.
